Světlo vodou proniká, je jí pohlcováno, nebo se odráží v roztodivných obrazcích, intenzitách, barvách a tvarech. Jednou nás oslňuje přímým odleskem, jindy přátelsky vítá a za okamžik jen tak stydlivě hladí vodní povrch. Někdy naznačuje, jindy zcela zakrývá, co se skrývá v hloubce.
Voda nic nepředstírá, nehraje, neklame nás. To jen světlo vykresluje různé tváře téhož obličeje.
Právě hra světla na vodním povrchu byla volnou inspirací k této sérii, která kromě modelky, času a místa nemá zdánlivě společnou linku, jakou by byl například jednotný styl.
Děkuji báječné modelce Adélce, která byla vodou v tom nejlepším slova smyslu. Sama se mnou a světlem dokázala v minimalistické prostoru (u bílé stěny) vykouzlit paletu rozdílných obrazů z nichž některé s vámi sdílím.
Light penetrates through water, getting lost in its depths or dancing on its waves in splendid patterns, with varying intensities, colors, and shapes. Sometimes it dazzles us with its direct reflection, other times it warmly greets us and, in a moment, tenderly caresses the water's surface. At times, it hints at what lies beneath, while at other moments, it completely conceals the deepness.
Water pretends nothing, it doesn't deceive us. It's the light that paints various faces of the same visage.
It's the play of light on the water's surface that served as the free inspiration for this series, seemingly having nothing in common except for the model, time, and place.
I am grateful to the marvelous model, Adela, who embodied the essence of water in the best sense of the word. She, slongside me and the light, conjured a palette of diverse images, some of which I share with you.
